Richard Smith

Since the age of 12, I have been deeply involved in Absolute Care Services, a family business founded by my mother, Della. My early years were spent supporting her during evenings, weekends, and holidays, which solidified my dedication to our family’s mission. Upon completing my education, I committed full-time to the business, focusing on enhancing and expanding the quality and reach of our services.

Today, as Managing Director, I oversee all operational aspects of the company. My daily responsibilities include strategic planning, team management, and developing key partnerships to further our mission. I am actively involved in shaping our service offerings, ensuring they not only meet but exceed the diverse needs of our clients.

At the core of my family’s professional philosophy is the belief that our clients should be treated with the same care and respect as our own family. This principle has been the cornerstone of our approach, ensuring that each client receives a deeply personal and compassionate service.

Interesting fact: I love random adventures and last-minute holidays but I am not a fan of surprises.

Tembie Nyirenda

Born in a business-oriented family, I have always believed in working hard to achieve goals. And being a natural passionate individual, I have always thrived for excellence in everything I do.  As well as possessing the ability to work autonomously I consider myself a high performer who is highly committed to my Role. Having to enhance my leadership skills tremendously.

My career in health and social care began as a part-time support worker while studying Accountancy in 2004 that’s 20yrs to date. Driven by a passion for caring, I transitioned into the sector full-time and graduated in Business Leadership and Management in Healthcare.

I joined Absolute Care Service as a Domiciliary Registered Branch Manager in September 2021. In September 2023, I was promoted to Community Registered Manager. My role responsibilities includes; Overseeing the operations of the branches, Managing branch teams so they can perform their roles competently and safely delivering quality care to our clients, Managing budgets and contracts, Making strategic decisions about the future and growth of the business and working in partnership with the council, care providers and health professionals.

Interesting Facts: When I was young my dream was to be airhostess and now have phobia of flying.

Simone Samuels

I have been working in care for over 15 years. I started out as a carer and gradually climbed my way up the career ladder. I have been managing both my services for 3 years now and I am enjoying all the challengers that come my way. I liaise with my team and ensure we are all meeting are targets and delivering the best care we can. Care is something that I am passionate about and feel that everyone that comes into my care deserves the best.

Interesting fact about me: I enjoy travelling and a big Tottenham Hotspur and football fan come on you spurs!

Sweedlin Fernandes

I take great pride in my role where I’m deeply committed to supporting both the growth of the company and the incredible people that make it possible. I believe in fostering a strong connection between our employees and the company’s vision, ensuring everyone feels heard and that we’re all working towards the same goals. My focus is always on creating a positive, collaborative environment where both our team and the business can thrive together.

After graduating with a degree in Human Resources, I joined Absolute Care Services in October 2021 as a Recruiter, stepping into the care sector without prior experience. Over time, with continuous support and encouragement from my colleagues, I gained a deep understanding of care at home. In July 2023, I was thrilled to be promoted to Recruitment and Compliance Manager, a role that allows me to contribute to the company in even more meaningful ways.

Today, I manage a fantastic team of recruiters, overseeing our recruitment processes while ensuring that our business meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. By keeping myself on my toes, I also efficiently coordinate with Local Authorities, CQC and other healthcare professionals.

One of my proudest moments was in early 2024 when I achieved the QCS ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems certification, reflecting our commitment to excellence.

Interesting fact: Enjoys nature adventures, gardening and a dream looking to fulfil is skydiving.

Sujata Teli

An innovative Recruitment and Compliance officer with comprehensive understanding of the full recruitment cycle including resourcing advertising interviewing and onboarding. We conduct comprehensive legal research in line with compliance and data protection regulation. We work with management and staff to identify regulatory risks and design internal controls to ensure compliance at Absolute Care Services. I have learned different techniques of background verification and whole employment process and compliance at Absolute Care Services. We believe in teamwork and share good relationship with team mates and our clients at Absolute Care Services.

Interesting Fact: I enjoy travelling, cooking, music

Rushan Mansuri

Born and raised in a business-oriented family, I have always dreamt of owning my own business. Witnessing my father’s struggles in his entrepreneurial journey inspired my siblings and me to pursue our own ventures and make our parents proud.

I began working full-time from my first year of college to sponsor my education and dreams. With a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accountancy, I found my niche as a Healthcare Recruitment & Compliance Officer since 2021. My passion for my work fuels my aspiration to start my own business in the healthcare or automobile sectors.

Recently, I took the plunge and started my own firm in the automobile industry. Despite not knowing how to drive, my enthusiasm for learning about the latest advancements in cars and bikes keeps me motivated and engaged.

It’s an interesting twist, owning an automobile business while not being able to drive myself, but it perfectly encapsulates my dedication and passion for innovation.

Roshni Desai Khahira

As the Business Development Manager at Absolute Care Services, I am passionate about helping families and individuals find the care solutions they deserve. I was drawn to this company because of its deep-rooted family-based caring ethics, which align perfectly with my personal values. Absolute Care Services stands out to me not just as a care provider, but as a mission-driven organization focused on providing heartfelt, compassionate care to those who need it most.

In my role, I focus on building meaningful relationships with clients and partners, ensuring that our services truly make a difference in people’s lives. I joined Absolute Care Services because I believe in their commitment to holistic care, where every action is driven by kindness, empathy, and a desire to improve the well-being of our clients. 

Fun Fact about me: I absolutely love cooking and trying out new flavours but I have become a keen explorer and love to travel to find new places to go and visit with my 2 dogs.  

Lani Sibhida

As a dedicated Care Coordinator , I specialize in ensuring that service users receive seamless , personalised care throughout. With a total of over 10years of hands-on experience as a Live in carer, Care Assistant , Quality Supervisor.  I excel in managing service user’s and support worker schedules.  Co-ordinating between healthcare providers and advocating for service user needs. I pride myself in training the new Care Coordinators joining other Branches. My goal is to enhance service user satisfaction and improve health outcomes by ensuring that every detail of their care is thoughtfully planned and executed. Building good relationships with both carers and service users is of paramount importance to me and I have managed to do this.

Interesting Fact: When I’m not coordinating the service user’s schedules and care plans , I’m likely coordinating my next outing. I enjoy football and love Liverpool FC.

Rahima Iqbal

Accounting and numbers have always been my thing, even though my family wanted me to become a doctor. The sight of blood and open wounds have always made me feel a bit queasy, so I knew from earlier on that finance was my true calling. Life took its own course when I started a family early, which meant I couldn’t complete my studies as planned. However, my passion for finance never wavered. I took up evening classes while raising a young family and studied AAT and ACCA. Since then, I have never looked back.

I joined Absolute Care Services in 2015 as a Finance Manager where I oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, strategic planning and analysis. With years of experience in financial strategy, budgeting and analysis, I am committed to ensuring that every resourced is used effectively to support our mission of delivering exceptional care.

Working for Absolute Care Services, a family run business, feels like being part of something truly special. It’s not just a company, it’s like working for your own family. The close-Knit environment and shared values create sense of belongings and purpose that is rare in today’s corporate world. I genuinely enjoy coming to work each day, knowing that my contributions help not only the business succeed but also make a real difference in the lives of our clients and staff. Interesting Facts: I love travelling and exploring new cultures and histories of the places I visit. I also enjoy playing Sudoku. I would love to have a go at skydiving, but my fear of height is holding me back.

Disha Patel

With over 6 years of experience in Finance & Accounts and Taxation overseas, I have excellence in my role. Being graduate as Global Financial Management in 2023, I started my role as Assistant Management Accountant in Absolute Care Services. I have joined Absolute Care Services in November 2023 with the enthusiasm for working with the care sector for the first time.

My role has provided me the platform to enhance my skills to the extreme levels in my profession. I love to work and deal with the numbers that can make a big impact on a business in improving profitability and contributing to future growth of the business. I believe in maintaining good relationship with people around me.

Royon Wright

As a dedicated healthcare and social trainer, I am passionate about empowering people in the health and social care industry to enhance their skills and knowledge. With over 20 years of experience in health and social care both hand on, team leading as well as learning and developing. I specialise in designing and delivering comprehensive training programs that bridge the gap between theory and practice. My background as a social care worker allows me to bring real work experiences and insights into the classroom, making learning both relevant and practical.

My commitment is to not only train but to inspire social care workers to reach their full potential, ultimately contributing to better client care and outcomes.

Interesting facts – I like cooking, traveling and almost activity in nature

Jennifer Burkett

I have been working in the care industry since 2006. I have worked my way up the ladder and have been a support worker, Team Leader, Senior Care Lead, Assistant manager, and Care coordinator, learning as much as I can to be able to provide a safe, caring, knowledgeable support for vulnerable people. I have found what I was meant to do with my life and will be working in some capacity with the older people for the rest of my working career

Interesting fact: I love Holidays my favourite place to visit is Las Vegas!

Tayla Dyer

As the granddaughter of our founder, Della, and niece of Richard, I have always been deeply connected to the values and mission of Absolute Care Services. I began working with our complex clients at the age of 16, gaining hands on experience in delivering compassionate, person-centered and strengths based care. After four years of dedicated service, I was promoted to Quality Supervisor in the borough of Sutton.

In my current role, I am responsible for meeting new clients, listening to their needs, and working closely with them to develop a tailored care plan. I also play a key role in supporting and training our support workers, ensuring that every member of our team upholds the high standards of care we are known for. I help introduce clients to their support workers, fostering trust and a strong personal connection right from the start.

Interesting fact: I love the seaside and dream of one day living by the coast.

Carolyn Nakoma

After six years of working as a Nurse and Midwife my passion has always been to work in a Palliative Care setting and bringing change in people’s lives. I joined ACS as a care worker and the experience was fulfilling then I was promoted to Quality supervisor.

In my role I oversee and support a dedicated team of care workers with a strong commitment to ensure the well-being of our clients. I joined Absolute Care Services because it aligns with my genuine compassion and deep desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Helping service users maintain their dignity and independence is incredibly rewarding, and this passion drives me to excel in my role every day.

Interesting fact: I love hiking but I am afraid of heights

Sheridan Geer

I’m Sheridan, and for the last 14 years, I’ve been with ACS. My journey began as a support worker, a role I embraced with enthusiasm, despite my initial nerves. My dedication to our clients’ well-being helped me progress to my current position as a housing with care officer.

In this role, I take great pride in helping new clients navigate their care options and organise their schedules to suit their personal needs. My work involves aligning visit times, care requirements, and ensuring that each client is matched with support workers who are best suited to their personality and needs. It’s incredibly rewarding to facilitate connections that enhance the care experience for everyone involved, from health professionals to families and, most importantly, our clients.

Continually striving to improve my expertise, I’m currently pursuing a Diploma Level 4 in Adult Social Care. This education not only enriches my knowledge but also enhances the support I provide to our clients.

Interesting fact: Outside of work, I love going to music festivals and I enjoy break dancing.

 

Elizabeth Oboh-Botey

My name is Elizabeth I am 21 years old my passion for care first started when I studied Health and social care BTEC Level 3 at Christ the king Emmanuel college from there I furthered my education by enrolling at Canterbury Christ church university where I began studying in diagnostic radiography after completing my first year I decided to pursue other career paths that would allow me to have more involvement in patient care where eventually I feel into ACS and have been enjoying my time here ever since.

My role at ACS is to be the first point of contact for both clients and carers helping with their inquiries and liaising with borough officials and other emergency points of contact. I am very much enjoying my role and am anxious to unravel the possibilities of my progression withing the company.

Interesting fact– I am a fully accredited Nail technician with my own business for over a year and I am currently undertaking studies to become a fully accredited aesthetic practitioner where I hope to open my own studio and launch my own brand I acrylic powders and become fully self employed 

Jenny Nelson

I’ve been with ACS for over a decade, initially joining the team as an administrator. After a few years, I embraced the opportunity to grow and now serve as a Care Planner.

Currently, I work at Cloverdale Court, an extra care scheme where I effectively manage our clients’ care needs. My role involves organising schedules, tailoring care plans to my clients’ preferences, and ensuring they are matched with the right support workers. It’s a responsibility I take seriously, meticulously handling every detail to enhance our clients’ daily lives and ensure their care is as fulfilling as possible.

Having been part of the ACS family for so long, I’ve seen firsthand how tailored, thoughtful care can significantly improve people’s lives. I am committed to continuing this tradition by providing the best possible service to those who depend on us.

Interesting fact: I have an identical twin which has always made life interesting.
